The origin of the Xbox 360 Red Light Error

A majority of these problems can be identified as hardware problems. Sources suggest that Xbox 360 consoles fail early in their life span because of flaws in the system design, parts supply, and manufacturing issues. It usually takes 4-6 weeks for Microsoft to process the repairs for your console. First you will have to wait for a prepaid shipping box. Then once you ship it out it takes a week to arrive at Microsoft repair stations. From my experience you will most likely not recieve back your original console. They will leave a note saying that your original console could not be fixed and they will offer you a refurbrished console. Awesome! Not really, you are pretty much getting someone else's old and used console. Probably a old Xbox 360 Red Light Error waiting to happen again.

If you want to save yourself the headache and you have no warranty then I suggest reading up on various repair guides the internet has to offer. When my Xbox 360 console had its 2nd Red Light Error I had no choice but to fix it myself or buy a new console. (As by this time I was no longer under warranty)

Xbox 360 Red Light Error

The Xbox 360 Repair Guide might be the very solution you need

Ever since Mircosoft released the Xbox 360 Console system there has been many recalls on 1/3 of the systems. The console is known to have what is called the Xbox 360 Red Light Error or also referred to as The Ring of Death or even 3 Red Light error.

Thankfully there are solutions to fix the problem. You can try unplugging the power adapter and given it a few minutes to rest. And plug everything back in and restart it. If this does not fix the problem then you might have to send your valuable Xbox 360 to Microsoft.

This process could take up to 6 weeks and if your not under their warranty would also cost you hundreds. Your almost better off buying a whole new Xbox 360. And there are also websites that offer you to send them your own Xbox 360 for 10 dollars shipping just so they can decide if its worth fixing or not. The trust in sending it to anyone besides Microsoft is fishy and risky.

Fortunately, there are Xbox 360 Repair Guides available on the market. It comes with step by step instructions on how to Fix your Xbox 360 problems in any situation. Offers detailed instructions and video tutorials on how to properly fix your Xbox 360 to have it working like new again. Why Do All Xbox 360's Seem To Have A Red Light Error? How To Fix It.

Ever since the Xbox 360 was released there had been some issues with a Red Light error. Most common is the Xbox 360 Red Light Error. Pretty scary to know your Xbox 360 could fall victim to it at about any moment. I know from personal experience because my Xbox 360 had the 3 Red Light Error at about 6 months of owning it. And if you dont have a warranty on it then your going to have to say goodbye to your Xbox 360 for about 6 weeks for Microsoft to determine the problem and how to fix it.

The reason behind the major problem is because the Xbox 360's design makes it hard to let air flow throughout the system to be cooled properly. At least for a majority of the errors that occur. Because of the dimensions are restricted in size it is difficult to let air get through the system. Most Xbox 360's will experience this down the road.

A few tips, keep your Xbox 360 in a well ventilated area, try not to set it up against the wall or the tv. Also, do not run your Xbox 360 idle for long periods of time. Keep it clean and dust it off once in awhile.

The Xbox 360 is a good console to have but the problem is unbearable. Microsoft has tried to deal with the Xbox 360 Red Light error problem for sometime. But, keeping customers waiting for 6 weeks to get their "fixed console" back is a hassle. Microsoft also offers a 3 year warranty on earlier models because the problem was so common for launch systems.

The market offers a variety of manuals and repairs kits. They may be a solution to most problems and save a consumer less headache and time. The solutions are available on the net.
